If you’re looking to get out of the house, but do it safely with little to no contact with other people, businesses and organizations are getting creative. It’s great to see some fun events being planned with the safety of others in mind.
Corn Maze– The Crow River Winery has a maze for the whole family to enjoy. Get outside, challenge yourself, and be alone as you make your way through the maze when it opens on September 26th.
Art and Fun in the Park– The Wheel and Cog Children’s Museum is planning different art and exploratory projects every other Thursday at Masonic Park by the RiverSong stage. Everyone is welcome and it’s a free event!
Free Art Kits– The Hutchinson Center for the Arts is offering free art kits to pick up each Wednesday. While you’re there, you can check out the current art exhibits too! Check out their Facebook page for more details on the free art kits.
Frisbee Golf- We have two frisbee golf courses in Hutchinson, and they’re free to use anytime. One is located at South Park near downtown, and the other is at Ridgewater College on the front lawn.
Plus, there is always the parks, river, lakes, and trails. Get out and go for a walk and enjoy the fall weather.
