I have a basket at the top of my steps and I have noticed that some people have theirs at the bottom of the steps.  We use it to pick up stray items that need to either go downstairs or come up.  The key is to get all family members involved in the plan….

Is the second Monday in January.  Keep it tidy by dealing with paperwork regularly.  Set aside 30 minutes each day so you don’t end up with overwhelming piles.  (Choose first thing in the morning, at the end of the day, or anytime in between)  For every piece of paper you find, make a quick decision to toss it, file it or act on it.
