Blinds need cleaning?
Clean Venetian or mini blinds by saturating a cloth with rubbing alcohol and wrapping it around a rubber spatula to clean both a bottom and the top slat at the same time. I’m all about multi-tasking!
Bleach alternatives in the washing machine
1/2 cup 3 percent hydrogen peroxide in the rinse cycle
1/2 cup washing soda to warm or hot water wash cycles
1/2 cup lemon juice in the rinse cycle
All of the above will whiten your clothes without using bleach.
Thrifty Dryer Sheets
24 oz. spray bottle
vinegar
essential oil
old washcloths
Fill spray bottle with vinegar and add essential oil. Mist the inside of the dryer and an old washcloth and throw it into the dryer.
Homemade Stainless Steel (and Chrome) cleaner
