Uses for an old shower curtain

I replaced our plastic liner (shower curtain) a couple months ago. I saved the old one. It was still good, but just looked pretty dingy. I threw it into the wash machine with towels and let it air dry. It came out really nice and “new looking” again. I had already put the new liner up, so didn’t want to take everything apart again to use this one. Instead I decided to save it thinking……….I should be able to use this “some day.”
We have been painting in the lower level of our house and used it for a drop cloth…….worked great. Much better than that flimsy plastic drop cloth that you buy that every time you step on it, it follows your heels as you walk. It stayed where it was supposed to be and it was easily moved.
The next time you replace your shower curtain, wash it and save it and put it with your painting supplies.

I recently used an old shower curtain on the bed of a child who has occasional nighttime accidents. I just spread it on the bed under the mattress pad. Saved me the cost of buying a waterproof mattress pad….
