Help your kids tame that clutter…

Show your kids how to help. Give your children specific instructions: Just saying, “Clean your room” is too vague for mosf ot them and it’s also overwhelming. “Pick up all the blocks and put them in the block box” is a more useful thing to say. Break big jobs down into smaller ones.
My daughter, age 11, has a list of “things to do” daily and she is rewarded so much for each chore-depending upon the time required. One thing on her list today was to clean and organize TWO drawers in her vanity. Much easier to take and also hear than “clean your room” or “clean and organize your vanity.”
