A Saturday all to me, and I’m doing laundry!

My family is off today to Grandma’s.  I am making homemade salsa, organizing my laundry room as I do laundry, making homemade soap and putting together a OAMC cookbook!

I ran out of stain remover so I decided to make some and I thought I would share this money saving recipe with you.

Homemade Spray and Wash

2 T ammonia

2T liquid soap or detergent (I used DAWN)

1 pint of warm water

Mix it all together and store it in a container.  I filled 2 spray bottles, one in the laundry room and one under the sink in the bathroom, close to the clothes chute.

Here is a clip tip:  I have clothespins in the laundry room and by the clothes chute to attach one to mark stains on dirty clothes to give me a heads up!

Yeah, but do you weave your own baskets? Hee, hee. Just kidding. I feel like a slug that I too had a Sat. all to myself and I rented 5 chick-flick movies. Ok, I did figure out one good tip to share- if you have a dog who always seems to run across your freshly washed floor before it dries, try this. Put a pair of socks on his feet. He doesn’t leave prints and helps dry the floor as he runs around.
